Using the steps below, we will be able to assess the strengths and opportunities of your program and recommend next steps and timeline. The goal of our engagements is to give your team an actionable blueprint on how to move the program, how to maximize your efforts, and to improve performance.
Steps
Interviews
As an initial step, we will interview key stakeholders in the company about the ecommerce program. The goal will be to understand the expectations and perceptions of the ecommerce in the company.
Analytics Review
A core element to assessing ecommerce programs is a review of analytics. This will give a sense of the strengths and weaknesses of the program, and it will expose any issues with the metrics being collected.
Site Review
A key component of the assessment will be a review of the company's ecommerce site(s). During this phase, we will review the homepage, secondary pages, navigation, content, and checkout.
Processes and Procedures
A primary element to running an ecommerce program is a review of processes and procedures. This ranges from how tagging codes are created and tracked to how development initiatives are prioritized and tracked.
Presentation of Findings
The final deliverable for this process will be an in-depth presentation of findings and recommendations. This will include an assessment of needs, with an estimate of cost when needed and a suggested prioritization of efforts. In addition, we will provide direction on possible hires and use of agencies.
